It is well suited for anyone looking for an immediately applicable approach to understanding processes, improving them and standardizing them. It has three outstanding features. First it is loaded with practical tools, guidelines, advice and methods. Second it has many examples and stories, making it easy to read and understand; third it is based on a solid philosophy of improvement inherited from the masters, Deming, Juran, and Ishikawa - and evolved over the past nearly fifty years. I recommend Process Mastering for your short list of important books on quality.

In praise and acclamation of Process Mastering by Paul and Ray. They have struck on how TQM and related concepts can be a great boon to those who labor daily on the shop floors. First by providing the workers on the floor, the recognized process matter experts, a direct voice in their daily effort guided by the customer desires and voice of the process.
